I’ve always been impressed by Minalima’s ability to bring stories to life via their gorgeous and detailed visuals as a huge fan of their design work. Minalima’s incredible creativity has contributed to some of my all-time favorite books, from the Harry Potter series to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. In this post, I’d want to look at some of Minalima’s finest books and discuss the influence that the studio’s design work has had on their popularity.
Who is Minalima?
Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, two former visual designers for the Harry Potter film series, formed Minalima in 2005. It was evident from the start that Minalima was a firm with a distinct talent for bringing tales to life via design. As a Harry Potter enthusiast, I was overjoyed to discover of Minalima’s involvement in the book series. Minalima’s graphics offered an amazing depth of immersion to the stories and truly brought the magical world of Harry Potter to life for readers like myself, from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry crest to the Marauder’s Map and the Daily Prophet newspaper.

However, Minalima’s abilities extend well beyond the Harry Potter novels. The studio’s work on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, with its striking cover art and inside images, helped to bring Newt Scamander’s world to life in a whimsical and engaging manner. And The Tales of Beedle the Bard’s gorgeous pictures and style make these fairy tales feel like a genuinely fantastic reading experience.
As a fan of Minalima’s work, it’s difficult for me to pick just a few favorites from the studio. The Harry Potter series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and The Tales of Beedle the Bard, on the other hand, are unquestionably at the top of my list. In the following sections, I’ll go into further detail about these titles and the influence Minalima’s design has had on their popularity. Bringing the Magic to Life: Minalima’s Contribution to the Harry Potter Series
The design of the Marauder’s Map is one of my favorite examples of Minalima’s work in the Harry Potter books. The map’s detailed graphics and sense of mischief really reflected the spirit of the character who drew it, and I liked looking over it to see all of the hidden nuances and mysteries it held. Similarly, in the novels, the Daily Prophet newspaper was always a delight to read, with its eye-catching headlines and imaginative graphics that helped bring Harry Potter’s magical world to life in a way that was both engrossing and engaging.
