Bleach volumes, chapters and box sets
Bleach has 74 volumes and 686 chapters.
Tite Kubo serialized Bleach in Weekly Shonen Jump from August 2001 to August 2016, and the story is complete.
The 686 count covers the numbered chapters and leaves out the 12 Turn Back the Pendulum flashback chapters, which are numbered -108 to -97.
Bleach has no sequel manga, and Burn the Witch is a separate Kubo series set in the same world.
Viz sells Bleach in three box sets: Box Set 1 holds volumes 1-21, Box Set 2 holds volumes 22-48, and Box Set 3 holds volumes 49-74.
New readers start at volume 1, and readers who only want the Thousand-Year Blood War arc start at volume 55 (chapter 480), which sits inside Box Set 3.

Masashi Kishimoto serialized Naruto in Weekly Shonen Jump from September 1999 to November 2014, and the story is complete.
There is no separate Naruto Shippuden manga, because Shippuden is the anime name for Part II, which begins at volume 28.
The sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, ran from 2016 to 2023 and has 20 volumes.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex began in V Jump in August 2023 and is ongoing, with 6 English volumes and 9 volumes in Japan.
Viz sells Naruto in three box sets: Box Set 1 holds volumes 1-27, Box Set 2 holds volumes 28-48, and Box Set 3 holds volumes 49-72.
New readers start at volume 1, and readers who finished the original Naruto anime start at volume 28.

One Piece has 112 English volumes and 115 volumes in Japan, with 1,197 chapters published as of November 1, 2026.
Eiichiro Oda began One Piece in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 1997, and the series is ongoing.
Viz releases English volume 113 on November 10, 2026, and volume 116 comes out in Japan on December 4, 2026.
One Piece has no sequel series, and the whole story runs as one continuous manga.
Viz Box Set 1 holds volumes 1-23, Box Set 2 holds volumes 24-46, Box Set 3 holds volumes 47-70, and Box Set 4 holds volumes 71-90.
Viz Box Set 5 (Wano to Egghead) holds volumes 91-111 and releases on December 8, 2026.
New readers start at volume 1, and readers who watched the anime through Alabasta start at volume 24, where the Skypiea arc begins.

Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Super volumes
Dragon Ball has 42 volumes and 519 chapters, and Dragon Ball Super adds 24 volumes and 104 chapters.
Akira Toriyama serialized Dragon Ball in Weekly Shonen Jump from November 1984 to May 1995, and the story is complete.
Viz publishes the original manga as Dragon Ball volumes 1-16 and Dragon Ball Z volumes 1-26, which match volumes 17-42 in Japan.
Viz sells two box sets: the Dragon Ball Complete Box Set holds volumes 1-16, and the Dragon Ball Z Complete Box Set holds Dragon Ball Z volumes 1-26.
Dragon Ball Super began in V Jump in 2015 with art by Toyotarou and has no Viz box set.
Dragon Ball Super has had no regular chapter since chapter 103 in March 2024, and chapter 104 (February 2025) was a special one-shot.
The reading order is Dragon Ball volumes 1-16, then Dragon Ball Z volumes 1-26, then Dragon Ball Super volume 1 onward.

Black Clover has 37 English volumes and 38 volumes in Japan, with 392 chapters.
Yuki Tabata began Black Clover in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015, moved it to the quarterly Jump GIGA in 2023, and ended it on May 1, 2026.
The final volume, volume 38, came out in Japan on August 4, 2026, the same day Viz released English volume 37.
Viz has not released a Black Clover box set, and no sequel manga has been announced.
Black Clover Season 2 of the anime premiered on Crunchyroll on October 3, 2026, starting at episode 171.
